This wine comes from a 100% organic and biodynamic winery from the right bank, meaning it is predominantly Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet
Franc being the secondary grapes. These vines are on average 30 years in age, and planted on mostly sandy soils. After these grapes are hand picks
and sorted they are conveyed in truncated vats where they will ferment for 10 to 20 days. After the fermentation period, the wine is transferred
to new French oak barrels for 15-18 months.
This Bordeaux is quite Iintense and complex, with notes of red and black fruit, a touch of licorice, delicately spiced and balanced with gentle acidity and rounded off with sweet fine-grained oak. A perfect wine to drink with a special dinner.
